How to Use Your Kelpi Bone

Getting the most from your Kelpi Bone is simple — here's how to build a healthy chewing routine your dog will love.

• Frequency: Offer the Kelpi Bone for 15–20 minutes per session, once daily. This is enough time for your dog to enjoy the dental and nutritional benefits without over-chewing.
• Supervision: Always supervise your dog during chew sessions, especially during the first few uses while they get used to the texture.
• Monitor wear: Check the toy after each session. As a natural material, the Kelpi Bone will gradually soften and reduce in size with regular use — this is completely normal and safe.
• When to replace: Replace the Kelpi Bone when it has reduced to roughly a third of its original size, or if your dog can fit the whole piece in their mouth. With your 2-pack, your next one is already ready to go!
• Size suitability: Suitable for all breeds and sizes. Larger or more enthusiastic chewers may work through the toy more quickly.

A little care goes a long way in keeping your Kelpi Bone fresh and hygienic between sessions.

• Cleaning: Rinse with cool or lukewarm water after each use. Avoid hot water or soaking, as prolonged submersion may soften the material more quickly than intended.
• If it gets wet: Simply pat dry with a clean cloth or towel and allow it to air dry fully before the next session.
• Drying: Air dry at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources (radiators, sunny windowsills), which can cause the material to dry out unevenly.
• Storage: Store in a cool, dry place between uses — a breathable cotton bag or open container works perfectly. Avoid sealed plastic bags, which can trap moisture.
• Odour: A mild, caramel scent is completely normal and part of what makes the Kelpi Bone so appealing to dogs. This will gently fade over time.
