Grooming room update

Since we closed our grooming room in early March 2020 due to the Covid 19 pandemic, we have had countless requests to reopen. We are pleased to say that we have found a way forward to operate again whilst following strict government social distancing protocols. We have been in touch with our local council who have assessed our grooming business with all safety measures in place and they have given us their approval to go ahead.

We are acutely aware of the need for everyone to stay at home during this dangerous period. However, our urge to reopen is driven by our duty to care for our clients’ dogs over this extended lockdown period. We recognise the impact the lack of grooming has had on dogs’ health and well-being, issues that have created discomfort in dogs and distress to their owners (issues that have been deemed as non-medical emergencies by the vets). Our groomers are experienced and can resolve these issues i.e overgrown nails, severe matting etc and we will do so in a safe environment with all the protective measures in place.

Over the next few weeks, we will be prioritising dogs who require what we consider as ‘crucial grooming’. In time and with government guidance we hope to return to grooming at our usual capacity and service all our client’s dogs as well as take on as well as take on board new clients.

We look forward to grooming your dogs again.
